Target Field Project

Target Field is a multi-level ballpark spanning over 1,000,000 square feet in downtown Minneapolis. The levels consisted of the following: Service/Service Mezz, Main Concourse, Club Level, Suite Level, Terrace and the Canopy. It facilitates a 3- level administration office for the clubs operations, 3 main restaurants; 4 bars; 3 retail stores, 1 light rail mass transit terminal, 1 training rehab center, 2 club houses and 36 concession stands.

The building’s Mechanical work included 2 Rooftop/VAV systems, 8 Air Handling Units/VAV systems, 256 fan coil units chilled water and/or hot water – DX, 4 air cooled chillers, 3 chilled water pumps, 2 heating water pumps, 2 heating steam heat exchangers, 1 high/low pressure steam station fed off district energy, low/medium and high pressure ductwork, grease duct, chilled water and heating water piping. The Plumbing system consisted of 4 domestic hot water steam heat exchangers, 1 domestic water pump skid, 1,500 plumbing fixtures, several in-line/recirc pumps, along with all the domestic water, sanitary/vent and storm water piping and systems.
